Friday the 13th Moonrise Paddle: September 2019
By Bill Osburn The weather forecast suggesting that the dismal days of fall were fast approaching, a group of us headed to Hosmer Lake late on Friday the 13th of September to experience the rise of a full moon from our kayaks. As dusk settled, the water's surface was undisturbed and I managed to capture some mirror images with my cell phone. My friend, Ruth Baker one-upped me with her own delightful mirror image.
